Alternative Longboards was born in 2011 as one of Poland’s first longboard brands. Built from passion and shaped in the heart of Poland, we’ve always believed a board should be more than equipment. It should carry attitude, identity, and a way of moving through the world.
From day one, we’ve pushed beyond convention — developing high-performance longboards for our own collections as well as for brands and partners seeking distinctive, handcrafted design with substance behind it.
Every board is handmade in our workshop using advanced construction methods we continue to refine year after year. At the core of each deck is a lightweight wooden center, reinforced with fiberglass and/or carbon fiber composites to create the right balance of flex, vibration control, and lasting strength. The result is a ride that feels as good as it performs.
Over time, composites have transformed longboard construction much like they once transformed aviation. That’s why we use premium-grade composites and resins that do more than improve strength and durability — they extend the life of every board we make. For us, choosing quality over cost isn’t a detail. It’s a philosophy. And for our riders, it means performance, reliability, and satisfaction that lasts.
15 Years Beyond the Ordinary
Quality That Wins
The quality of our work has been proven where it matters most — on some of the world’s most respected stages.
Alternative Longboards have helped our team riders reach the top, from Patrick Lombardi’s World Downhill Championship title at Red Bull No Paws Down to Antoine Ferrer’s gold medal in longboard dancing at SYCLD, better known to many as AJ the Kid. For us, those results are more than achievements. They are proof that an uncompromising approach to quality, performance, and craftsmanship delivers exactly what it should.

Art That Gives Character
We believe longboarding is a form of self-expression, and every board has the potential to carry a story of its own. That’s why we collaborate with exceptional artists — including Mateusz Kolek, Sebastian Skrobol, Patrycja Podkościelny, Patryk Hardziej, Tomasz Majewski, Przemek Kołtyński, Grzegorz Wróblewski, Tomasz Leśniak, Julia Hanke, Robert SEIKON, and Jagoda Stączek — to give each deck a distinct visual identity.
Their work draws from nature and the elements, dynamic geometric forms, and even post-apocalyptic narratives, turning every board into something singular. These are not just graphics applied to a surface. They are the character of the board — the detail that gives each ride its own spirit.
